Poetry inspired by true Love

Without You

Without you
My house is like a tomb
Hissing, lightless gloom

Without you
My most precious treasure
Is like a mountain of sand, beyond any measure

Without you
My body casts no shadow
Lifeless matter, even for the Sun it’s hollow

Without you
My power’s like a caged beast
Forgotten in a desolated dungeon, no guards, no priest

Without you
My blazing fire dies in ashes and dust
Mighty steel corroded into bloody rust

Without you
My senses... they are dead
Feelings gone, only blackness lies ahead

Without you
My heart is like a stone
Mistaken, left alone

Without you
My soul is like an empty shell
Living only under wicked spell

Without you
My life is like a dying tree
In the hottest desert far away from sea

Without you
My dreams are void
Wings shuttered and destroyed

Without you
My words are blank
My mind forever drank

Without you
My creations are rotten as winter leaves
Visions, words, nobody believes

Without you
My days are black
And every night the hell is back

Without you
Beauty is no more
A world of shapeless bodies, nothing to adore

Without you
Art is pointless
Expression still but voiceless

Without you
I’m less than nothing
With you
I’m everything… and more
